After meeting at the 1948 Olympic Games in London, Rosita and Ottavio Missoni married in 1953.
In Milan, they started a knitwear company and premiered their collections in the mid-60’s. Their designs have become famous for their colorful palettes on luxurious and wide-ranging fabrics, and their successful business has been passed down to Rosita’s and Ottavio’s three children.
